Keymind joined forces with the professional services firm, Axiom Resource Management, in 2001 as its information technology and creative services division. This merger brought vast personnel and resources to Keymind while providing additional core services to Axiom's growing government sector.

On April 4, 2008, Keymind completed an appraisal of its software development methodology and supporting processes (e.g. project management, configuration management) and satisfied the level three requirements of Carnegie Mellon University's Software Engineering Institute's (SEI) Capability Maturity Model Integration® Version 1.2 (CMMI-DEV). A Capability Maturity Model Integration® (CMMI) level four/five appraisal is planned for Summer 2010.
