ESB Java Developer

Keymind, a Division of Axiom Resource Management, Inc., is a professional consulting and development firm based in Northern Virginia. Our projects cover a broad spectrum, from custom Web sites and content management systems to complex web-based application development, for a wide range of customers.

We currently have an excellent opportunity for an Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) Java Developer with solid development skills who is dynamic, intelligent, and independently motivated! In this position, the Developer will be responsible for implementation of the Enterprise Service Bus architecture in a multi-tier application for use in WebLogic application server.

A successful ESB Java Developer at Keymind:

Is able to recommend integration best practices, such as Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and system modeling.
Builds, maintains and has solid development experience in back-end Messaging (ESB or ESB like transactions) leveraging J2EE technologies.
Possesses a project focused attitude, an aptitude for solving complex problems and a demonstrable ability to learn.
Is detail-oriented with strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
Thrives in a collaborative, team environment, but is just as comfortable working independently.

Position requirements include:

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN AND ABLE TO OBTAIN A SECRET CLEARANCE.
3 - 5 years experience analyzing, designing and implementing integration solutions using J2EE technologies on ESB platforms such as Mule, or related technologies, and 6+ years overall IT.
3 - 5 years experience with multiple programming technologies, including Java, XML/XSLT/WSDL, Spring/Hibernate, Web Services, JMS, MQ.
Hands-on experience developing message-oriented integration solutions with Java.
Solid understanding of the following concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, LDAP, HTML, XML, J2EE, Apache/Tomcat, Secure Sockets Layers, Secure Certificates, Load Balancing, firewalls and multi-tiered.
Key technology experience in areas such as J2EE, .NET, XML Web Services, SOA.
Knowledge of change management tools, Subversion, TortoiseSVN.
Experience with a wide variety of testing tools and techniques, ex. JUnit.
SQL/PLSQL and Oracle knowledge is highly desirable.
Must be prepared to take a Java test.
Must be prepared to submit code samples prior to interview and testing.

Preferred:

Experience with Scrum, Continuous Integration, Automated Testing, User Acceptance Testing.
Strong knowledge of WebLogic Application Server, PKI, WS-Security, SAML and various web services standards.
Working knowledge of various message standards (HL73, ebXML, C32, EDI, X12) and similar standards.

In this position, the .NET Programmer will work with the requirements analysts, information architects, the creative team and the client to develop scalable, robust and flexible solutions.

A successful Mid-level .NET Programmer at Keymind:

Demonstrates solid OOP development skills.
Has proven expertise with SDLC Microsoft application development especially ASP.NET, C# and SQL 2000/2005. Knowledge in VB, VB.NET would be an added advantage.
Must have experience in writing and integrating Unit-Testing with NUnit
Must have experience with build processes such as Nant or MSBuild
Must have experience with continuous integration technologies such as CruiseControl.
Must have the technical depth to write and understand code specifications, and develop code.
Possesses a project focused attitude, an aptitude for solving complex problems and a demonstrable ability to learn.
