Axiom's Keymind Division Wins Bronze Interactive Media Award

May 18, 2011

Falls Church, Virginia. Axiom Resource Management, Inc. announced today that its Keymind division had won a bronze award in the Horizon International Interactive Media competition. The award recognized Keymind's recent redesign of the Department of Defense (DoD) Computer/Electronic Accommodations Program (CAP) website (http://www.tricare.mil/cap).

"Our Keymind division staff are leaders in interactive media," said A. Douglas Peardon, Axiom Managing Partner. "They excel at providing cutting-edge solutions in a user-friendly and accessible format to get information about our clients' missions to the public and stakeholders. We're delighted that their work has won this recognition."

The 2010 Horizon Interactive Awards drew more than 1,000 competitors from around the world, both industry giants and smaller, boutique firms. The CAP website took the Bronze Medal in the "Government Agency" category.

"CAP works to help provide individuals with disabilities full access to the modern digital workplace," said Derek Shields, Axiom Vice President for Disability Management and Quality of Life Initiatives, who oversees the firm's CAP support team. Keymind redesigned the award-winning CAP website to refresh the site with an updated look, integrate new technology and provide more interactive features. The site provides an online needs assessment process, training materials and information to support DoD's CAP office. CAP provides assistive technology and support services to individuals with disabilities and wounded service members in the DoD and throughout the Federal government.

Axiom's Keymind division is widely recognized for distinctive website designs, a focus on user experience and accessibility, a CMMI Level 3 assessed software development methodology, and client-focused creative and technical support. "Our team works closely with every client to design solutions that meet their specific needs in the simplest, most effective and brand appropriate means we can imagine," said Shane Oleson, President of the Keymind division. "We're proud to be recognized once again by the judges of the Horizon Interactive competition." Keymind has earned gold and silver Horizon awards in previous competitions.
