DOL JFAS

The Department of Labor’s (DOL) Office of Job Corps’ mission is to attract eligible young adults, teach them the skills they need to become employable and independent, and place them in meaningful jobs or further education. The National Office of Job Corps was relying on an antiquated, pre-Windows era software package to manage their nearly one billion dollar annual budget. The challenge posed to Keymind was to replace the legacy system by building a new Web-based Job Corps Funding Allocation System (JFAS) application that would provide an improved interface for the users, as well as increased visibility to users located throughout the country.
